Hey guys, it seems like all 4 of my speakers blown, i think i want to replace all four. definitely the rear 6x9s.

Im thinking if im going to replace them i need something better than the stock JBL speakers. any recommendations? my budget is around $150.

You can try Hifonics they are the best bang for the buck in my opinion. This actually out did my Kenwood and I had this running higher power around 85 watts each . I totally recomend 'em if your in a budget.

I don't really think you can spot the sound quality difference in my opinion but I really have no idea.

The Hifonics 6x9's are 3 way I'm not really sure about the 6 1/2 component speakers but one thing I know they're LOUD!!! That's probably the best bang for the buck. I been running this setup for around a year and a half and the quality has not gone down what so ever and that's counting my daily loud music. :D

I really don't have no idea how the JBL run.

there is no such thing as real 5 way. '3 way' should be fine. for coax it makes no difference anyhow, rear speakers always sound like crap. you should have your soundstage for the front
