Rear speakers not working

Rear speakers not working

Postby PEITRUS » Thu Jan 22, 2009 3:05 pm

Just wondering if you guys can help me out:

My rear speakers are non functional. I just noticed a week ago that when the radio is on the rear speakers do not produce any sound.

Things I have done:

- Transferred the fade balance to the rear speakers: nothing
- Disassembled the center dash and checked wiring to (stock) head unit: All wires connected and accounted for
- Assessed wiring in trunk where speakers are located: Wires are still fine
- Used Search tool: Unable to find solution

Any help would be appreciated, thnx

Which head unit do you have? If its the jbl premium, your factory amplifier is probably dead.
