Gen. 1 Stock JBL amp with Alpine speakers?

Is it ok to run the stock JBL amp on our Gen.1 Solara with new Alpine speakers? cuz my rear stock JBL 6x9 is blown...just planning on replacing it with alpine 6x9 Type S

how many watts does the stock amp put on each speaker?

Speaking of removing the speakers, does anyone have a link for the tutorial for removing the panels to get at the speakers? Search yielded relativly sparse results... EDIT: Ahh.. I found it! heres the tutorial: http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=38172

by the way, what size exactly is the factory tweeter?..planning on changing the sounds next week and i am missing the tweeter...

I put in 1 inch JL soft dome I had to modify the mounting bracket a bit but i think you will have to do that for any after market tweeters
