okay one more question

A fellow sg'er enlightened me on my subwoofer and amp situation. Just wanted to know if there are any alternate ways of wiring my setup to get all 600 watts from my amp to my sub?? heres my setup. thx for any input.

bridge the amp and connect the sub in parallel so its a 2ohm load.

both manuals should say how to.. gl!

^ I agree. the sub should have a diagram on how to wire it and so should the amp.

the amp is not bridgable to 2 ohms. if the woofer is a dual 2 ohm then series the connections on the woofer to 4 ohms. that will give you the most output from your amplifier.

I'. not sure what the voice coils are rated at but either way one of these will help. Don't run a 4ohm stable amp a 2 it will fry. Its more a voltage stability thing tou can run it at one ohm but once you hit some bass and your cars voltage dips, poof.
