The AV8533 suggested retail price starts at $2699 and will be available late November. -JoeB

We just got the AV3423 and I was able to put it on display. The hideaway unit is VERY big, and there are tons of cabling to run between it, headunit, and car. The touch screen is very nice, comes with a wireless remote also. It has 5 different wallpaper settings for the background. It costs $2000.

The 5/4-channel amp, EA3532 is pretty nice all around too. It may not have fancy looking designs, but it does its job very well. It costs $350.

Thanks Luc,

I'm getting the AV8533 at a really nice hook up price and already got a deal price for my friend. Thanks! For me, it's a $150 difference for 5.1 sound... so I may as well pay the extra $150

Is that amp you're talking about the one that comes w/ the headunit ? Where would you suggest to hide it in the Solara? Trunk? =x My trunk will be full of Eclipse component boxes and amps =x

That amp is a complete separate piece from the AV8533/AV3423, it's just a newer piece we got, but offers 5-channel of operations. I typically mount amps behind the rear seat, since if the customer wants to remove the subbox, all he/she has to do is to disconnect the speaker wires. Of course, if the amp is too wide to fit on either of the split folding rear seats, then, it would go on the box.

You'll love the AV8533, it offers Picture-In-Picture, digital input/output, and lots of goodies to play with, of course, with 5.1 also.
