Does anyone have experience with this option? Seems like a pretty cool feature, but is it worth the effort? I'm also looking for the distance in between the speakers in the car to set it up. Thanks!

see, the trick with this is that you do it online, then save it to a CD and upload it into the headunit, so I'm not sure if you can do it all manually.

You have to measure the distance from your ears to the speakers.

The MX feature is just an ehancement option. You turn it on and it helps strengthen signals to clarify the sound. When I get a minute, I'll measure my stuff out and post the distances.

time delay values

Postby ralphredimix » Fri Sep 18, 2009 11:53 am

Here's the values I used for the measurements for the time correction on the Alpine Ipersonalize for my 2000 Solara Gen 1:

Front L : 77CM
Front R: 107CM
Rear L: 135CM
Rear R: 143CM
SUB(in trunk): 150CM (guess.. not sure how delayed the bass value should be)

hope this helps!
