HAHA I know right?? Wishfull thinking!! I would have to be insane to argue my b/f's 600hP Camero. I think I'll just kiss the pavement as it rips my paint off.

Meow wrote:1.) Obtain cheap JDM 1JZ Supra

3.) ?????
4.) Profit
With ??? roughly corresponding to pulling the rear subframe from the Supra, hacking the piss out of the exhaust tunnel on the Solara to properly accomodate a driveshaft, making custom mounts to bolt on Supra rear end, making custom motor & tranny mounts to fit the 1JZ and R154 in there, getting a custom driveshaft to match the length of the Solara, some wiring, and a shifter linkage to make the shifter line up. There's prolly more that I'm missing :D

Dude, you read my mind! I've put a 2JZ into an IS300 before and I'm thinking it wouldn't be any more difficult.

Oh, it'd definitely be more difficult :D But it would be doable, and very rewarding when it's done.

Eek, crap I'm stupid... I edited my post to reflect that you're my "DMV" SISTER rather than BROTHER... I apologize for my jump to the false assumption!

Common mistake :) Besides, I don't like to announce myself as a "car chick."

I've been cruising around the forums, doing alot of reading (you probably won't see me post much), cool stuff. Lots of insightful posts. I'm liking it here.
