Sorry for turning the "Introduction" forum briefly into a "Goodbye" forum, but it's time for me to say goodbye to all my Solara friends. Recently I was offered a good price for my 04 Solara and I took it. In a couple days I'll be taking delivery of a 2004 G35x.

I want to thank everyone on this forum for the wealth of information, advise, and wisdom you have unselfishly shared with me. You all saved me money, taught me how to do some do-it-yourself, pointed me in the right direction when buying accessories, and offered strong opinions to my views. I hope the G35 forum is as helpful, friendly, and unselfish as all of you.

Enjoy your Solaras. They are beautiful automobiles.

PS And Solara1.5 stop applauding so loudly. I can hear your cheers all the way in the midwest!

Good luck with the new car! You'll love the G35. It's not as well appointed as the Gen 2 Solara, but it's a much better driver's car. You won't believe how small the turning radius is. I see that you got the all wheel drive version. That should work well in your upper Midwest winters.

I guess we'll see less polls now!

Fotodad,
Best of luck with your G35. You were of great help in the forum and I'm sure you'll love the G35 forum. Let us know how the G35X compares to the Solara. Did you sell the Solara with the new tires? SO how much does a 2004 Solara drop in price in one year by the way? Wondering how much depreciation there is with this car.
