Hey guys,
I have never been part of a forum before but have been on this site quite a bit in the last few months just reading up on things.
Some info on the car: In February I bought a 2001 Twilight blue, SE V6, 5 spd (wow it was hard to find). In the last few months I have done some paint work because the previous owner's poor driving, I have HID 6000k headlights, 20% tints all around, dropped on tein/tokico, an intake., and other minor mods. My car is in need of 18's, but it's in the work as we speak. My friends bust my balls saying "oh, it's just a toyota", "it's a 2-door camry", or it's a "mid-life crisis car" .... I dont care what anyone says, great car, great investment.....

Welcome to the site man, sounds like a beautiful find! Great color, and great mods / additions thus far, I look forward to seeing some pics!

Don't worry about what your friends say, you have a hell of a car with hott looks and plenty of "fun factor"... Not to mention you are one of the few with a manual V6!!

Yeah, it is "just" a Toyota... It'll also be on the road driving "just" as great as it always has long after your friends cars are all gone.

That's true prodigy79. Im not driving a skyline or a supra, but the solara has that touch of class. I think Toyota did really well with the design of the solara. Im guessing like 90% of the members on this site are from the US, but over here in Toronto Canada, its just not well recognized or supprted. It sucks but thats just the way it is. A friend of mine just came from Cali and said he saw lots of Solara's. It made me proud.
haha.

The Supra is in a different class all together.
Actually Solara Blue, seeing your car is the reason I want a TRD/Kaminari Kit for my car. But that's next year.

Welcome :D

Don't worry about what your friends say, in the end it's what you like. Like Prodigy said, your friends will be in new cars while your Toyota is still running supreme.
