Hey! I've asked a few question already, but I thought I'd post a pic of my Solara! It's a 2001 Toyota Solara SLE V6 with pearl white paint, ivory interior, leather and spoiler. It looks so neat! The two custom things it has (i didnt add) are tinted windows and a pinstripe. Tell me what ya think of this ride!

Great!

The 2001 Solara was the best year the Solara was ever produced. Don't listen to the others. They don't know.

The pin stripe you have is a dealer option. I personally don't like it. Its just a thin piece of tape that has begun to peel over the years. Maybe someday I'll replace it with a real pin stripe.

Congrats on a fine purchase. You shoul enjoy it for many years to come.

Hey thanks a lot for all your feedback! I'm not sure what the tint is though. I notice that the back windows have more tint then the front windows. Maybe if you look up the Indiana (where the car was before) window tint laws, the tint is pretty dark, so I assume its the darkest allowed. Haha, well I hope the tint complies in Ohio (where I live)!

Thanks again for all your opinions!

What are my plans? Hmmm, interesting question. I have to get my driver's license first, lol, but I'll get my temps in a few months. Well, anyway, I dont know anything about working on cars (i dont even know how to change oil, lol), but I really do enjoy cleaning them for some reason. I guess I just take so much pride in the car. I'd really like to drive this thing up to 200,000 miles, so hopefully that will work out. Toyota's are so reliable and long-lasting, thats why I bought one.

Thanks again for your feedback!

I'm suprised for all the SG's who claim to know it all..didn't point this....your car's upgrade was the 16's centers from an older model. 01 solara had the silver centers for their 16's...my o1 had silver centers and i swapped them for those black centers what you got...

I'm not sure what you are talking about.
I have the '01 with 16s and they came with the black centers.
