Hello

Hello

Postby Black Bob » Thu Oct 18, 2007 7:38 am

Just bought a 2005 SE Sport V6. Previously, I had a new Suzuki Verona for a year until Suzuki bought it back after 13 trips to the shop and me serving them papers to get my money back. While shopping with my settlement check I looked at GMs (except for the Corvette, boring), Fords (been there, done), Hondas (nice engines but boring styling), Hyundais (take the nameplate off and I would've bought one) and liked the shape of the Solara and the stock ground effects. I usually only see women driving them and have been called on the carpet about it by my male friends but they always hop in quicker than a hooker with jogging shoes. My female friends......well, let's just say I have more female friends.

Welcome. These guys are very knowledgeable about any question you might have about your Solara.
Without ammunition, the USAF would be just another very expensive flying club.

Thanks all! Don't make me feel too welcome, I'm like that stray cat you fed only once who now keeps scratching at your door for more at 4 in the morning. I'll post some pix later.

Welcome to SolaraGuy!

Don't worry; there's plenty of proverbial Meow Mix from our members to offer, just as long as you kill our mice in return...

I know what you've been through with buybacks... That's how I got my car instead of a 2004 Nissan SenCrap; 14 repairs and several weeks without it later, I think it's worth the hassles... Worth the paperwork and stuff from BBB, but not to mention worth polishing/detailing it until 12AM, worth putting premium fuel and synthetic oil into, and worth more in reliability after suffering with a "Korean-parts-inside" Japanese car in your case, or made in Mexico in my case.

Nice intro!

You are at the right place... for a stray.

(You won't WANT to leave, either!)
