Hello and welcome.
The absolute best performance mod for your car is a supercharger. These are extremely difficult to get. They stopped making them a couple of years ago. You can still get lucky and find one on Ebay every once in a while.
The second best performance mod is your exhaust. I encourage you to go here: http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?p=412771

welcome aboard. first things first; the solara doesnt have much (if any)aftermarket support. with that said injen makes a fine intake but if you want real hp gains buy the cp-e intake, it is expensive mind you.
as far as exhaust go's a lot of members have done custom piping, etc...
trd makes a muffler which sounds nice, not too loud very clean. greddy and apexi dont make cat-backs for us anymore :( im not sure but jic might....
the absolute best mod for the money is the trd rsb. along with lowering springs and new struts your ride will corner great. still, the rsb alone will give you a noticable difference.
if you have money you can do a lot of other things. some members have done custom turbos OR if you have the $$ and can find one the trd supercharger will work well....
the solara is a great car. you cant do much for perfomance but you can sure make it look good. get a trd lip kit as soon as you can.... and rims.
