I picked up a G35 coupe back in the summer and put up my Solara for sale right after, but nobody bought it. Now that winter is coming around, I was a bit worried about driving the G, especially since I still have the Solara, and it has valid plates until August 08, so I called up insurance and I'll be driving it again starting this weekend! I'm not selling it anymore, I will be keeping the Solara permanently as my winter car, because I've already fixed everything there is to fix on it, and I know it's going to serve me well for years to come. I'm gonna wash both before the G goes into storage, and take some pics of the two together, it should be really nice, Black Sand Pearl Solara and Ivory Pearl G35 Coupe :D

nice, FWD solara for the slick canadian winters, and the slick RWD G for the cool summer daze. sounds like a pretty fortunate turn of events.

now awaiting pics.

Hehe, yea, I'm very happy to be keeping it. The main reason why I was going to drive the G all year round, is because I didn't want to take a big step down in my winter car, I wanted to stay in something stick with nice luxury features. The Solara provides exactly that, more comfortable, quieter, better stereo, better fuel economy, and FWD is much better for winter. Suprisingly enough, there are things that my Solara has, that the G doesn't: Auto headlamps, gas struts for the hood, homelink garage door opener. I just wish it would handle a bit better, even with the upgraded suspension, it can't even come close to the G.
