Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site and wanted to introduce myself. I'm MJ and I bought my second Solara on May 15th. I replaced my 2001 Solara SE with a brand new 2004 Solara SE Sport (4cyl) - Black. It's gorgeous. I know I won't win any races but seriously the 4cyl is totally adequate for my commuting purposes. The ride is a little stiffer that my last Solara but I'm getting used to it. Other than some sunroof problems (screeching noise) it's perfect. Toyota field rep says they are putting out some sort of notice in October about this and the fix will be to replace the tracks. Anyway, I'd like some suggestions about customizing my audio. Because of the size and finish of the stock stereo what are my options? I need help! Thanks, MJ

welcome to the community
don't worry about that sunroof issue, toyota is *generally* pretty good about finding fixes to stuff like that.
as far as audio is concerned, my only suggestion is satellite radio....of all my upgrades, that *may* be my favorite.

Welcome! Congrats on another Solara. I know what you mean about the stiffness, but it's definately better for handling. :D
BTW, get to know the Search button above, it will come in handy.

Welcome, and congrats on the new Solara. There's plenty of radioheads around here (myself included) so you're in good hands. :P

There is actually a TSB if you use the search function here for the sunroof problem. I have the same problem and they replaced the tracks and the motor and still a problem. Hopefully with the issue of this TSB the problem can be finally resolved. Good luck to you and welcome.

Congrats & welcome...I agree with your observation on the suspension. My SLE V6 has a sportier ride than the 99 SE V6 I had.
