The OFFICIAL intro

Never formally intoduced myself so I'll give it a shot. My name is Matt, I'm from MA, about 20 miles south of Boston. I bought my lara last February, and it replaced an 01 Millenia S. I love the lara, but I'm still having big sedan withdrawals. :-?

It's an 04 SE V6, black on black with black pearl emblems, and I got it new, modded somewhat from the dealer, and they had it inside the showroom. They installed the drop springs, front and rear bars, exhaust, and 18" wheels and tires, all TRD. I've since put on some chrome shoes and tint, and upper and lower billet grilles, but that's about it. No big plans really, just an intake probably in the spring, and debadging.

I've enjoyed the site so far, and hope to meet many other Solara owners in the future. Here's a couple pics from last spring after her first waxing. When the weather gets better I'll take her out for an official photoshoot. Enjoy!

The rims were on my Millenia too but they look way better on the Lara.

The TRD rims I got it with are like yours, but not chrome. I'll use them in the winter(this week) :(

Very nice ride Matt! Thanks

It's pretty rare to find a Modded out Gen2 on the dealer lot.

Does it still have the OE intake?

Exhaust by TRD or Custom?

Welcome aboard!!

Still has the stock intake. I'll probably do that when the weather gets warmer. The exhaust is TRD also. It's funny, when I test drove it, one of the things I didn't like was the sound, I'm used to smoother, quiter cars, but now I wish it was a little louder. I'm sure a new intake will help out with that.
