Hey dude, welcome to the site. Check out Brandywine for the engine... They have a couple huge centers in MD (along with several others) and they ship nation wide, but since you're in Jersey I'd just take a trip down and pick it up.

http://www.brandywineparts.com/

National # 1-866-214-2175

Locations that have the engine listed:

Upper-Marlboro, MD
Brandywine, MD
Lorton, VA

I did a quick search and they have tons of 1MZFEs (whether from Camrys, ES300s, Avalons, Solaras, etc...).

I got a 5SFE from them a few years back... Negotiated them down from $1200 to $500... The engine only had 44K miles on it.

Peace,

-James

For a 1MZFE? Sounds a bit too high to me (and I wouldn't even bother with new)... Though it depends also on milage, what it comes with, etc... The ones on the site I linked you to started at around $1300, and I'm sure they can be talked down substantially...

Correct... The 3.0 Litre V6 Toyota placed into the Solara (along with several other vehicles) is the 1MZFE. You will hear that used a lot in reference.
