Hello car ppl

I just got my 99 Solara last week. Its only got 40K on it but being a technician myself, I have already found a few things that the lady before should have gotten replaced under warranty. Thats less money I can spend on mods. Damn. So far I have gauges and voigland springs on the way and I'm checkin into the Tokico deal. I may be kind of a ricer by your standards....can somebody explain what you ppl think a ricer is?

welcome! you'll find a lot of tech support here for your car, as many of us already have.

in regards to the "rice factor", ricer usually is someone who:

1. add "mods" which don't really do anything, and can actually hurt performance of the honda.....ahem.......i meant vehicle.
ex: cutting springs to lower vehicle.

2. overabundance of stickers, LED's, stickers, banners, stickers, decals, stickers, uh...did i mention stickers? those too.

3. 'fart can' exhaust

4. advertising types/brands that the vehicle doesn't have
ex: TRD emblems on an Echo

hit the search button, and type in ricer

well other than carbon fiber tail lights and maybe a fart pipe i guess i'm not a ricer. there will be no cutting of springs or any other type of backyard mechanic action going on in my garage.
