Hey, How's everybody doing?

Name: Jen
Solara's Name: Sammy
Solara Year: 2002
Solara Model: SE
Solara Engine Type: Automatic
Solara Color: Lunar Mist (Silverish)

Bought the car in March, slightly used. 2+ months later, over 30,000 miles. Everyday driver. Black interior.
I love the car! It is soo realiable, and I am glad I picked Toyota then some of the other kinds.
I've learned a lot in reading posts and now that I am a member you all can help me add some mods to my car.

Welcome aboard!
Are those rims or hubcabs? I havent seen stock rims like those. Do you plan on modding, and if so, how far out do you plan on going?

i bought my car used, so it has some slight previous owner modifications (i believe the hubcaps are one of them). they are unique and nothing like the ones on other stock toyotas. my hubcaps have a toyota emblem on them.
as far as mods- i would like to add some cool and unique things while still not "pimping" out my beautiful baby, but i want to catch some eyes
krooked-what is the curse? should i be afraid? ;-)

even if i knew that before the purchase; i would still have bought it... yeah, the color is common, but i think thats less of a chance to get a ticket then a bright yellow mustang... which was one of the reasons why i got this color.

sorry to all of u silver solara owners who have been cursed... i hope i am not! :-?

nah, it's just a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. silver seems prone to "hey come and hit me!" type of attraction. i guess.

Welcome aboard!

Funny thing I've been on this board for awhile and I finally registered, I would have as many posts as these "veterans."

Next ride for me, down to three: Nissan Skyline GT-R, Dinan M5, or a Subaru STI

I don't believe I got ripped off: my dad was there the whole time. Bought it less then a year used for only 14K great deal with the keyless remote and a small tint added. ;-) It's in great shape and a terrific history, the previous owner used it as a luxary weekend car... barely touched.

16 valves, divided four valves per cylinder = 4 cylinders
thats what i thought...
that means you have the 2AZ-FE 2.4L engine, 157hp, 162lb-ft
looks like youre going to have to re-write some of your info!

(i hope the person you bought it off of didnt lie to you!)
