Welcome

Hi Jen,

I have almost the same car as your Sammy. I think I will be calling mine Sabrina, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

Take a look at mine and let me know what you think.

I have a question. What is the gauge in your right-center AC vent?

Good luck with your Sammy,

Tired Old Dog

SammySolara, I'll be joining you in Pittsburgh in July 2004, I've decided to accept a position at UPMC as a general medicine fellow.

Maybe we'll run into each other driving around the city. I've noticed that the parking lots at Heinz Field are quite empty with lots of space! Good drag racing location (but even better for learning to drive a stick).

Pittsburgh is a great city, you will love it! Do you know where you will live yet in the 'Burgh? I live in the South Hills. Also, what UMPC? There are a lot located in the surrounding suburbs as well as in downtown.
As far as the drag strips in the stadium parking lots, I wouldn't suggest it, but to learn a stick... sure. There are usually cops (both city and stadium) in that area. Many straight back roads are good for drags. Also, there is a lot of action on Interstate 79 especially at night.

It is just a analog clock that my friend got me at Pep Boys. I think it was like $9.99 or something, I have had a lot of people think it was a mod.... just a clock. I like it, I am not real into the major modifications. I am just keepin' it simple.

Indiglo ink pearl... What exactly is that? Does it change colors in the light or such? I know someone who has a Dodge Stratus that does that, he told me at night and I haven't seen the car during the day so I don't know for sure.

Have no idea where I'll be living yet (1 year away!) but I will be based out of UPMC Presbyterian and Montefiore (offices in Montefiore), also the building next to the Wyndham on McKee, and possibly the VA.

I look forward to running into you on the streets of Pittsburgh...

By the time you get here and get settled I will be back in school and my dad will be driving my baby. He drives it while I am at school, because he wont let me take it to college with me.
Not too many Solara's around these parts, how about in your hometown?

Not too many Solaras around here.

c2g lives in Providence but I have yet to see his ride. He's got Altezzas, and other mods.

An ER resident and a urology resident both drive Solaras as well.

But otherwise, they're few and far in between, and for some reason, usually driven by much older folks.

Here it's mostly driven by 20-30 somethings and more commonly women.
