Hey everyone,

Just recently purchased a 2000 Solara SLE it now has 216K on the motor and is still running strong. Haven't really done much to it yet besides a stereo up grade with just a amp and two tens. Having a trunk rattling problem so after work I'm headed to home depot to get some S&P to try and stop it. Can't afford the good stuff as i am a college student and i only get paid minimum wage at my job at the gym. Recently some one also nailed my front left corner in St.Louis so i am trying to fix it as best ass possible with a new corner light and some elbow grease. Will update on the progress with photos.

Thank y'all.Yes i do believe that is how the world works, as sad as it is. I was worrisome about putting the peel and stick stuff on my car because of so many controversies about it. I went through with it and my system sounds 20% louder and my rattling trunk and bumper have stopped. It also only took me two hours and you can't even tell its there with all the panels hiding it. Didn't think about taking pictures till after the fact.

Hah, I just picked up my Solara today and not even an hour later some guy in a truck almost clipped me, he was backing out and had to slam his brakes because he wasn't looking. Then I thought of this post.

Thanks. I took that picture one morning when I was out in Newport beach. No it is not another black. It is a silver stream opalescent.

[quote="newkid87" Having a trunk rattling problem [/quote]

Are you sure its the trunk and not the spoiler? I had the same issue when I put my subs in and it was the wing. Welcome!

Ya it actually was the tail rattling. I was just slipped some wax paper under it and it worked. Only problem is now things are rattling inside now. Peel and seal worked a little to well.

lol yeah tell me about it. Once i replaced the rear speakers, it seemed like nothing went back together as well as before. Now I got random squeaks, but the bass covers all that up
