Hello everyone softtail here. The 2003 2.4 liter 4 cylinder solara has been in the family since 2004 and has 184,000 loving miles on it. My wife passed it down to me and just picked up a new camry. ( needed the 4 doors lol).

Welcome, softtail. My 04 just turned 99,000 this week, so I'm looking forward to many more miles and years. Glad to have to onboard.

I will try my best, Crisp. I sort of blew the dress rehearsal when I was sitting at a light one night and noticed that it was exactly 99,000. In my eagerness to capture that moment, the light changed, I lost my composure, and the picture was waaaaaaaay out of focus. :drinking:

^^^ Solara

^^^ Supra

BOTH rolled 100,000 miles in the SAME WEEK! '04 'lara and '89 Supra! (The Supra sat in hibernation for a total of about 8~9 years of it's overall life... and the latter half of it's life has been as a "project car", hence, the low mileage for age.

PS: The Supra pic was taken with a HELLO KITTY plastic camera that JUST HAPPENED to be in my center console! (5 yr old daughter's... and NO batteries were in it, and NO SD card!) Well, I found two AAA batteries in a compact flashlight in my glovebox, and took the SD out of my Navi unit that was under the seat... and the camera shot THIS ONE SHOT and DIED! (Phone didn't have a camera at the time...)

Just glad to have COMMEMORATED the momentous moment!
