Hi,

I've been lurking here searching through the forum for a bit, but figured it's time to introduce myself. I've recently become the owner of a 2001 Solara with the full TRD package minus the aero kit and wheels. I love the car so far, only thing I don't care for is the gas mileage compared to my 6-6 Accord, but that was a given considering the supercharger. Still gets 30 on the highway though :)

I have mild plans for the car. I recently bought a set of original 16" 6 spoke Solara rims (car came with ES300 15s) and an Injen SRI, but, due to my flexpipe taking a $#17 last night I am ordering the OBX headers/Y-pipe for the car. Hopefully I can get that taken care of by next weekend. My future plans are fuel mods and 6 lbs of boost, along with 3" cat back piping.

As we say in Hawaii "E Komo Mai" Image to Solaraguy.

...I'm confuse.... how can it be the full TRD package with no TRD rims/Kit... Can you post what it came with and some pics?

It came with: the TRD supercharger, TRD axleback exhaust, TRD strut bar, TRD springs and struts. Not sure about the brake pads, haven't needed to take them off yet or use them to their potential. My pics are on my netbook, will try to get them up tonight.

Thanks, for the list that's what I was looking for. :sweet:
Anyways, you don't really need the kit because it's a sleeper right now.

That's exactly why I wanted the stock 16" Solara wheels. The ES wheels don't attract any attention, but the discerning possible victim would deduce that the wheels might mean there are other mods that aren't visible :evilbat:

Doubt it. I've had a few guys over at TN tell me they saw it on autotrader, but were too far away to pursue it. Luckily, it was for sale four miles from me :D I had pretty much decided to buy a plane ticket to buy the elusive Accord 6-6, but then found this baby right on my doorstep. The only reason I found it, was because I looked in one of those Autoseller magazines and found a 5 speed Solara, didn't know they existed until then so I hopped on AT and found her.

unless someone is willing to get rid of theirs, you aren't going to find one
