Hello from Indiana
Hi all,
I just picked up my Solara on Monday. It's a one owner 1999 DWP SE V6 automatic. 176,000 miles.
I picked it up from a car lot, and it seems they had removed the CEL bulb, as it has eight codes popped. They all refer to either the O2 sensors, EGR valve, or the VSV. Nothing horrible, but annoying.
Aside from that, the car runs and drives like brand new. I was very surprised with how nice it is.
The only flaws on the body are a chip on the spoiler and one spot on the front bumper. You would think its a three year old car from outside.
The inside needs a new driver's seat skin. The steering wheel is also pretty chewed up.
Other than that, I'm liking it. It gets decent gas mileage and is very comfortable.
It's my winter car so I don't have to drive my 76 Celica or my '10 Ninja in the winter (duh).
