Hi! I am 2001 Solara owner from Sterling VA. This is my second Solara and it has 2.2 engine and stick shift, the first one was 3.0 which was so much faster, but had to sell it due to problems it had. My Solara is still stock and slow :) Looking forward for some upgrades and modes. Thanks.

Hello, Im a greenhorn to blogs so i hope you can be patient with me hahaha. I have 49 posts left before no mercy begins. Well I am from Pa, I purchased a 1999 Solar V6 with 143000 miles. Its a great car had to do a little bit of work to the car as expected for my first car :) I'm having gas mileage problem. on a full tank (18 gallons) i only get 205 miles then my light turns on. Horrible mileage i would say. I have a few codes. P1410 egr P0330 knock 2. my car runs fine no spit, sputter, or stalling. It does idle a little fast when it first starts up 1800 rpms. Please HELP

Welcome aboard! I wish my Solara was a stick shift, bet they are much funner to drive than automatics.
