NY meet..No date set yet....reccomendations?

I joined a bit late for the last meet but would anyone be interested in doin it again sometime this month? Id like to chance to meet with fellow car enthusiast and most importantly, learn somethin new. I dont know if another meet is unreasonable since you all just had one, but if anyone has any interest, lemme know!

I am interested. I too joined a little late for the last one. As long as it falls on a weekend or at night during the week I am game.

Where is everyone in NY? Im in Valley Stream, Long Island. We obviously have the option of the Beaches, any lot off on Sunrise Hwy(next to LIRR) would work also. Weekends are good for me....Im off! :angel:

I guess ideally Id like to see if we could plan somethin before school starts for myself as Im sure is the case for many others......just to throw a date out...Sat August 14 or Sunday August 15.......Anyone have a preference? How many people showed up at the last one?? Good turn out?

Plainview, but my g/f lives in Vally Stream. I would have to say maybe the 15th. Otherwise the weekend after that.

Slingshot- 4 sludger Red SE sport...I lost my connection to help with any mods, so things will take some time, but i seem to be on a carbon fiber kick...we'll see where that takes me.

Red and Sport are good! Congrats on a new 2004. I test drove the 4 sludger and it wasn't half bad at all. Fine for everyday populated Long Island driving.

that was the main reason i got rid of my 01 accord. The milage was adding up like crazy. Not to mention i wanted a convertible since i was like 10

Im always up for a long island meet, since it isnt too far from me, but I dont think I can make next week since I got two friends visiting from MI on the 13-16 and I got handed the role of personal tour guide for the weekend.

I might be able to fit a car meet into the weekend, but Im not gunna count on it.

I might be able to bring em beachin as part of the tour tho, MI isnt really a beaching state.

If the MI girls are cool with whatever it is you guys plan, id be in, but thats a big if, so count me down as tentative for now.

We had about 10 or 11 at the last Jones beach meet, reppin 5 states, MA, CT, NY, NJ, and VA.
