We would like to have a picnic at Great Falls Park. Are there picnic tables and grills here?

Approximately 50 picnic tables and 17 grills are available for use on a first come, first served basis. Some of the tables can be pushed together for large gatherings. Availability during the weekdays is usually not a problem. It is recommended that you arrive early on busy weekend days to make sure you get the space and tables you need. You may also bring your own grill. We request that all grills be fueled by charcoal or natural gas.

Sorry for the late response, guy. I was there in the VA side last year and we did some BBQ there. We just need to be there early, at least some of us has to.

And as a matter of fact, I just called them up and yes, they do have grill for BBQ in both sides, Maryland and Virginia. First come, first serve and they open at 7 am.

So don't worry too much about the grill. I would be there at 8-9 if I really had to, LOL

WTOP weather forecast calls for low 70s on Sunday with some clouds. Most of the rain will continue now through Saturday night. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I propose alternate meet at Dave & Busters (Rockville) if this doesnt work out.

you sure they got grills? I was there not too long ago and they didnt' have any. even the ranger told me that they don't have them but we're allowed to bring our own in. I dunno..if u say they do..then i guess they do. But someone should still bring a backup just incase!

Carlos Arrieta Jr. of Arrieta Motorsport will be bringing a grill. JoeB, you still bringing the charcoal and lighter fluid right?

WTOP weather forecast calls for sun and warmer temperatures for this weekend. :onfire:
