We had people that had to work on Saturday, so the day was changed to Sunday a couple weeks ago to accomodate everyone. I have to work on that Saturday as well, plus the Monday. Sunday seemed to allow more people to attend. We only have 9 Toyotas comming because a few backed out. But 9 cars (mainly Camrys) are in for sure, plus how ever many Solaras are comming down. So maybe 13-15 cars all in all. I hope that a few of you will reconsider and come down. It should be a fun day.

I was kinda planning a drive through all the popular sights. After a quick meal maybe in Old Town, I was thinking check out the La Jolla (cove area with caves). Then maybe check out a drive through Julian if we have enough time for that. If not, then go hang out at Belmont Park in Mission beach, then it should be meet time. After the meet and dinner I was thinking either Dave and Buster's or a casino. I'll make final plans this Weekend, so you'll have a week of notice. I'll get directions up on here and make copies for everyone too. Is Sunday ok for a deadline.

How much Money for Food?

Postby TRDCamry » Mon Aug 09, 2004 4:49 pm

I need to know how much money you guys are willing to spend on food, this will givfe me an idea for which restaurant to choose. Just give me a price range. The places that I was looking at in Historic Old Town were around $7-11 for a good Mexican meal. We can try to find something cheaper If you'd like. Just let me know. Also we might want to check out the ferry ride to Coronado Island too. That's about $4.50 per person. Just let me know how much you guys can spend while you're down here. Thanks for your help.

Yeah thats the quickest way. Also if your interested in a little side trip through the ortegas it's a fun road to take, but def. out of the way. I might go through there and take the 5 down and see if i can join you guys down. :scatter:

I'm scoping out a few places for us to go on Sunday. Parking seems to be the main problem with the coastal areas, so I'm to work around that. I'll have a game plan together by this Sunday and give you all details.
