I think the one at JFK airport is about 10 miles away (Jamaica NY), but maybe someone more local can give you a confirmation.

well, I'm still in, and I think I can get us a cheaper (free maybe) ride on that ferry both ways.... I'll let you know!

**EDIT** As a super secret special bonus, my gf just got me as a bday gift a painting of my car that I'll be bringing to show off because it kicks a$$!!!! She took a picture of it to a local painter and he did it all up for me!!!!!!!

Man this sucks. I just got offered to go to florida for that week, Its July 10-17th. I kinda wanna go since the florida sands > NY sands, but if I cant find an earlier flight, i might show up late for this one.

<<edit>> looked up details...I dont think Im going, air fares too much for a flight that close.

In any case, you guys should update the thread and title if possible with date, time, and list, so people dont have to read 7 pages for details.

I'm definately in - whoever started the thread - edit it for 7/17 at what was it - 11am Jones Beach field 4?

I guess - when you pull into the lot, go toward the back right of the lot - into as open an area as possible.

theres a marriot right near nassau colliseum which is like 5 min away form Jones beach
