San Francisco Meet First week of October?

As I posted in SolaraGuy Travel thread, I'm driving down to San Francisco in First week of October.

I'm leaving here in Ohio September 27th.
Arriving San Francisco on September 30th evening.
I will stay in SF till Saturday evening, and drive back (don't now exact schedule after we leave yet.

I'm not familiar with the area, so can anyone organize a meet for some evening of Oct. 1, 2, 3, or 4th (Sat) morning?

Also, I will need to change my oil while in SF, so if anyone knows any good place to do it, Good Mechanics or Shop (I usually do it myself, but don't want to carry all the staff with me for this trip)

I probably won't be able to do any big meet along the way, but love to meet up with some of you guys for quick dinner or lunch if time falls in right.
Will post more detail info once i find out.

bbq sounds good to me, and which ever day october 1 ~ 4th would be fine with me.

by the way, I'm not that familiar with the area, and i've been wondering where exactly (which cities) fall into norca, and socal?
just had been wondering for quite a long time... (pretty much since i joined SG.....)

the entire silicone valley

major cities: san jose, oakland, vallejo, san francisco,

home of biotech - south san fran, burlingame, etc etc etc..

SOCAL: los angeles, orange county, hollywood etc...


if u werent drving so much id say we can do skyline blvd from san fran to san mateo (about 25-40 miles depens on how far we go)

im about 30 mins south of san fran, 15 south of oakland, 30 mins north of san jo so im just about centered..

ill call everyone that is still around the forums to come by (even WTF aka phi)

I have pretty much whole afternoon open, so 25-40 min drive won't be a problem, as long as someone can drive along (and show me where to go....)

and also please excuse myself for my dirty ride ahead of time... probably i won't have any time or energy to clean my car beforehand....
