Take her to the "Watertower" mall in Chi-town as a B-day gift! Spend a night or two in a nice hotel, eat some good ethnic foods, cruise the big-city, buy yourself a consumer product we can't get in the "MALL" around here... and call it a double-b-day-S-G-salute-on-the-lake-shore...

This is really blowing up... and I'm glad to see it.

I was just planning on a visit back home and catching a Cubs game and I thought it would be nice to meet with some of my fellow Solaraguys and gals.

If you guys from out of state want to meet up, that would be fantastic. I may want to rethink this and devote an entire day to a Solara Chicago meet. Definately would be a great photo opportunity and meet some of the faces behind the avatars.

As I mentioned earlier, my vacation is from April 12th through the 18th. It is a 14 hour drive for me too. I may call in sick at work and take the 11th off as well.
If anyone has a preferred date that they would like to meet, please say so now.
I'm very flexible with my schedule ( I dont even have my Cubs tickets yet).

Maybe I should just scratch my plans for April and be there for the Elmhurst Toyota show in August and make an event out of it.
I think its scheduled for Aug 23rd this year.
And the Cubs are playing at home that week too.

I didn't show my car at Elmhurst last year and still had a great time. Well worth coming out.

My goal for this year is to have something worth showing by the time Elmhurst comes around.

hmm if my body damage on the avalon is fixed by then I'll definitely go out there. I may feel a little left out being a pretty much stock avalon and all but hey there will be a gen 3 camry so ill feel better =P
