THIS SATURDAY!: Socal Canyon Run and Photoshoot

Is anyone interested? I need to make an online portfolio, so whats better than calling out everyone and have a fun time while i can get some work done. :]

Who wants to go for a nice cruise or heart pumping canyon ride and at the same time, your car will be photographed by me?

I'm practically open any day from 3pm to 6am. :] hahahaha

Lets make it fun.

What: Meet up, Lunch if everyone wants to, then Angeles Crest for the ride and Photoshoot after.

According to google map, its a skiing and watersport specialty division store. But i know for sure, its a Sport Chalet. We'll meet here at 3pm. Once everyone comes, we'll head off up angeles crest for a cruise (or whoever wants to race, can go ahead.) And then we will caravan to Newcomb's Ranch to eat if everyone agrees.

I just sold my old SLR and I am still learning on my Canon 40D

There's Highway 243 a little ways away from Riverside, but I think that's too far for just about everyone

Angeles Crest or even Glendora Mountian Road is good....

I've shot up in GMR and its really nice to get some rolling shots

There's also Highway 38 here that's twisty and leads all the way to Big Bear and over to Silverwood Lake on Highway 138.

It's about time we had one of these. I made a thread about it but very little people expressed interest.

GMR has some really nice shots during the day. Rolling shots will be hard or next to impossible, unless we're on the freeway or something. We could have someone stand off to the side shooting the car around a turn though. I'm down for other canyons too, but I've heard bad things about Turnbull. I'm down for the photoshoot and will run it fast paced too

ive heard many stories as well but ive been there millions of times and nothing has ever happend. Bad things only happen when ur there around midnight and if your looking for trouble you will be sure to find it. As far as ive seen turnbull i think its a really nice place to chill and really peaceful and a nice place to shoot some shots.
