Bummer Quick. Sorry to hear that. Was looking forward to talking bikes with ya! 8)

Alright, my plan for Saturday was to get up early, wash, wax and vacuum the Hon-duh and head to Rudys? Since I'm already in Austin. Does this work for everyone in my area or does anyone need me to meet them somewhere? That is cool too, don't mind one bit. I'm planning on heading out to Rudy's my next day off, probably Wednesday or Thursday to make sure I know where it is and what not.

Please let me know what the plan is for the Austinites. :evilbat:

Maybe someday we will hook up.

First, I gotta get my Solara back on the road.

there was a southeast texas meet. i think one of the guys in that camryman meet was from beaumont, another from somewhere north of livingston...

the dallas meet a few months later wasn't near as good... there was only 3 of us. :(

a few years ago i was invited to a texas twos meet, even though i didn't have an mr2. but we aren't driving mr2s... :)

things aren't looking good for my EGR situation. i'm debating whether i should risk it with my expired (july!) inspection or just take the miata... the miata sure would be a lot of fun on those twisties...

I've actually got into sport bikes recently. Particularly the GSXr 1000 and the CBR1000rr

Do you have one?

Do you think you may be faster than a VMax?

I've been playing on a GSXr 600 for a few weeks but thats it, doubtfully faster than your VMax.

Well, I'm just talking tough. My VMax actually scares me a little. I still haven't gone full throttle from a complete stop. But when I'm going 30, I have no problem jumping up to 90 in only a handfull of seconds.

Maybe one day we will meet up. On either a bike or a Solara.

starting to look like i might not be able to bring the camry. last night i tried to "un-lower" my car since the teins are just too low. figured it's no big deal, just zip off the teins and slap stockers back into struts, right?

well my passenger cv joint decided to just pull apart as i removed the strut. not sure why, but it did. i have lifetime warranty on the part but i just hate having to do it at all, since it's just more work and time... and downtime during which my clutch is not being broken in. CM says 500 "city" miles to break it in and i only have about 150 on it.

so even if i do get my egr stuff sorted out and get a sticker, i won't be able to drive it hard in austin since i don't want to toast my brand new $400 clutch!

Sweet man.
Well the first time they aligned my car the front passenger camber was still of and the toe in the rear was off, and my steerin' angle was off also.
But they fixed it today.

I know.
