That's one helluva meet!! Dangling that type of carrot you could get other members from other forums possibly, just watch out for squirrely kids who you don't know borrowing their mom's Astro van with a high school parking sticker in the window. One strange noob behind the wheel can screw up 17 insurance policies.

Sounds like fun... I would be down to do this... I can test out my suspension which I have been adjusting left and right every week. I can't seem to find the right damping I want to use.

for 60 bucks i'd be there for sure, but that's quite a drive from houston.

i have 3 tracks within a reasonable drive to me. MSR Houston is about 30 minutes, Grand Sport Speedway is about an hour, and Texas World Speedway is about 1.5-2 hours.

Most tracks will pay you with track time (to be used later) if you're willing to spend the day working corners. I know both TWS and MSRH do, and i have earned 1/2 day at MSRH so far. One of these days I'll actually go use it hehe...

GSS is fun but small, MSRH is a blast and has 3 different configurations, and TWS really is a world class track with loads of different combinations possible. i'm not a member at any of them ($$$$$$$$$$$) but you don't have to be a member to work a corner and get some track time.

honestly though, i'd much rather track the miata. i hate how the camry understeers so much.
