Im taking my Nova and my slicks. Its gonna be a good night if all go's as planned. My friends are taking there Mustangs and Chevys too. The mustang wants to put up some $$$$ against my Chevy!! Soooo exiting!!

I like the $15 set-up and the term "dollar store tri-pod." :D
As the vid started I was thinking this is gona be crap and it wasnt.
Once my Lara is rollin again (next week) Im gona make one for the Meet.
I wonder if I can modify it a bit to mount two cameras???

seen this mount in action at autocrosses and it seems to work well as long as your camcorder or digicam is relatively light. unfortunately my camcorder is NOT light (it's an older digital 8mm cam) and my digital still camera, while ok at video, has CRAPPY audio.

too bad my miata doesn't have removable headrests that i could mount a camera to. but i have a roll bar i can bolt things to, so it's not all bad.

I've also seen that kind of mount at autocrosses. It's cheap and easy, and it works well. Did you see how fast that guy can cut with a hack saw...awesome.

All you need though is two holes of the proper size to put the headrest through, the u-bolts are not really necessary.
