Wow, BossMan. That's nearly 500 miles for you. If you
would do that, then it seems like Nashville would be a
good place to meet for anyone else from the South.
I like Nashville. I was thinking that Centennial Park off
West End Avenue would be a great place to meet also.
Of course, I'm sure there are plenty other great places
as well.

we do have the dragon here in east tennesse, which alot of car groups decide to drive, and crouch rockets. haha

even though I'm closer to Nashville because Atlanta is bigger

Hey guys Im definitely down for a meet in the south. Im game for Nashville or ATL. I live in the A but have family in Nashville. Let me know any info. Im also super down to do the Dragon. Hopefully I will have my new wheels by then... I know there a couple of ATL people on here that would wanna go. Some old members from back in the day that arent on here much, but given enough time, theyll be back

I actually would rather do the dragon. Its up in the mountains. GREAT view. awesome cars take this road. alot of curves. we could go fast, and just cruise.

I will be in VA and NC in early June and plan to make deal's gap and parts of the blue ridge parkway part of my journey. According to the route planner, I will be going 4 hours out of my way to get to Deal's Gap... but considering that it'll take me 20 hours to get to Virginia from Houston... i might as well, since i have no idea when I might ever get up to that section of the country again.

And btw - you call Tennessee "southern"?? I grew up in south Mississippi. My grandmother used to say that anyone who lived north of I-10 was a yankee. now she lives about 2 miles north of I-10 lol

If you happen to have the meet the same day I'm driving through there, I'll stop by and say hi, but i doubt it... it'll be a weekday.

** a little birdy told me that weekdays are the best days to drive the dragon - less crowded, less police, etc etc...
