KN has more than 1 filter that can fit, i believe. difference is fatness and length.

just find one that you like that is 60mm(diameter of the intake pipe) and things should be fine.

Buttoning down the hatches? Greg, my son and I were out riding waves on our boogie boards last night in OC, MD. 8)

K&N filters are widely used and allow good airflow but I've heard complaints about them too. Gadget says they allow extra airflow at the cost of proper filtering. He said hold the filter up to the light and you'll be shocked at the size of the holes in the filter. He recommends Amsoil filters.

I'm not having a problem getting enough air into the sc. If you were restricted on air flow to the sc, you would see that you couldn't boost up to the pulley rating. For example, you have a 6psi pulley and can only boost up to 5psi, the problem might be air intake restriction. Until you have a problem with that, I'd stick with good quality filtering. -JoeB

Guts and balls is all I can say. Although from the east coast, Maryland as a matter of fact, I left many years ago to see the world and serve the nation. Since retiring I lived in Greece for a few years and the rest of the time was in Arizona. No beaches there my friend. So the thought of things blowing over last night did not make me happy at all.

What we got was no more then a good rain.

OK, the filter. I have the 6psi pulley and it dos not hit 6psi. 4.5 to 5 at the most. She's in the shop for a dyno-tune and ASFCII install as we type. I'll give you the results Saturday. Sure hope she doesn't disappointment me. :( I been known to turn the old M4 loose and make things die. LOL 8)
