I really want these so keep it low if possible, I need your expertise, would these be a good purchase, Heres my questions
1. I thought TRD stuts where just tokico's this says bilstein is that ok.
2. Would these be good struts, close to tokico performance anyway.
3. Can I use this with lowering springs, or will they not work.
4. is it ok that they are so rusty, do they look ok.

sorry but the guy selling them didnt give much info, thanks

The seller is not giving much information...Why? Looks like they must have come from a wreck, so there's one strike against them. That means they have been sitting for a while, strike two. They are misrepresented and without a detailed description, STRIKE THREE... They may be ok, but why take a chance? Tokikos are the way to go, so shop for the best price...

TRD = Blisten on the Solara.
They are a little rusty, but that is not what I would be worried about. How long have they been sitting, and why did this person pull upgraded struts after 10k? From what I have heard the Blistens are harder than the Tokicos and the quality is top notch, but there is something funny about this auction. These would have been mated with TRD (Eibach) springs originally, so lowering shouldn't be an issue, unless they are already bad struts.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

:o Keep in mind those struts require a special upper fitting which is not made anymore. I had those on my car long ago and a upper fitting failed and I could not get another.

I ended up changing all four to tokico which fit the OEM upper fitting

You can bail out, you can cancel the bid...just search on the e-bay website for how to cancel. When they ask for a reason, say someone used your name without permission, that always works.

i hope the guy that posted the auction doesn't read this board, because if he did that would backfire.
