Supra calipers strong????

I was wonderin if the Supra calipers were strong than our Solara calipers??
Wouldn't the Supra calipers bolt right up to ours??
The stock rims of the Supra is 16 i believe.
I was just wonderin' if the Supra calipers were strong if the are, and bolt right up to our brake pad brackets than that would be sweet.
And i would try to find Supra calipers for the front to change wit mine.
Wait i just thought of this if the Supra calipers are bigger than i would have to change the brake pad brakets too.
Wouldn't my idea work??

no they are not the same and will not bolt up to the solara's brake system.

stock supra are 17'

bigger pads as well.

Non-turbo Supras have 16's by theway so that would be possible.. it is possibly a different caliper than the turbo version but i'm sure it still might be better

i dont know about the non turbo but the turbo version has 4 piston in the front brake. our solara has only one piston. If you want to retro fit the brake on your solara, it will be really expensive. i think you need to calculate carefully that how big is the brake reservor you gonna use and the fabricate brackets.

the custom work fittin them on would tower over the price of the product, no moron would spend a grand or two make a 200 dollar piece of junk fit. you go get real stuff, wilwood or brembo 6 pots, and 13" slotted/drilled rotors

I wonder if there would be a way to get an aftermarket caliper to fit Eric's kit, since it allready allows you to use a Supra TT rotors.

It won't.

I already thought about getting the Supra TT calipers, it won't bolt up for sure and there are other issues.

Even with 1 piston, Eric's big rotor kit makes a huge difference in terms of braking.

What about a Wilwood, or another caliper maker? I agree that Eric's kit works very well. Everyone here w/ 17"+ wheels should get it, as it's very affordable.
