SPEC Stage 3 clutch & lightweight flywheel installed

Clutch pedal effort is slightly stiffer, but it feels good. Shifts are clean & controlled, the friction point is closer to the firewall so creeping in 1st gear takes a little more concentration.

There is a noticable improvement in power with the aluminum flywheel. It is not a huge difference but it definately wraps out more quickly.

I don't know what brand the flywheel is, it might be SPEC... I would definately recommend this set up, I got it at a decent price through horsepowerfreaks.com

So you said w/ the aluminum flywheel you felt more power, what about w/ the Spec 3 clutch?!!? Or did you install it all at the same time? Your set up is kind of like mine and i just wanted to know if you felt a considerable difference for the cost.

Did u do it yourself or have a shop do it? If a shop, what shop? I'm not too far from you and info like this would be beneficial for the future. 8)

Both were installed at the same time. I have a local independent mechanic that I have known for about 7 years, he done most of the work on my car.

The only downfall about the clutch/flywheel setup is there is a much smaller window for the friction point than stock. Takes some practice not to bog or burnout with a quick start in 1st.

BTW, 1st gear wraps out real quick. Can't use full throttle or you just smoke 'em.
