Which wire do you tap into to get a correct reading for an air/fuel gauge? Kinda stuck on installing a A/F guage on a solara. Thanks yall :o

I'm pretty sure its the blue wire coming off the o2 sensor on the front bank. Theres still a lot of confusion about the A/F gauge, but I konw for a fact it won't work on my 2001. I have a 5 volt o2 sensor and 2000 and 99s have the normal 1 volt o2 sensor

Sorry Yanks it didnt work, I tried to tap all 4 wires seperately, not a dam thing. Does anyone else know what to do cause Im working on this 2000 solara and he wants his a/f gauge to work? The reason he wants it is because he did Jims fuel upgrade, and fuel pressure regulator mod and the gauge is still showing that he is running lean, and when he gives it a little gas hes running rich. :o
Has anyone else had this problem its kinda a pain in the butt!!

2001's don't have an O2, but an Air/Fuel sensor on each bank. It also costs oodles of bucks for one.

I'm pretty sure that it wont work. Either do use an obd2 scan tool or volt-meter to test to see if you have a 5v o2 sensor. Mine shows up as like ~3.3volts.

The a/f gauge will only work with 1volt o2 sensors

Thanks yanks...

Would it be the same if i have a i-4....

from what i've seen... the i-4 engines o2 sensor works with the air-fuel gauge.. but i honestly never seen it on a v6..

can anyone with a i-4 give some input if they have messed with the air/fuel ratio gauge before..

But imma try your method first yanks just to test it out...
