^^^ That may be . . . but there are a lot of other factors that will determine the best rpm to shift at. In Hawaii, it's quite humid here . . . at the tracks, it's best to shift right at the redline to achieve the fastest 1/4 mile time. I dunno bout the mainland, but down here in the islands we hafta redline baby.

I was talking about supercharged cars because of the inherent flat torque curve. Is your car supercharged?
