I went to autozone like someone recommended me and finnally got that code pulled rather then resetting it. The guy told me it was

FUEL TOO LEAN ON BANK 1

What do I do to fix that? All I have is intake(soon to have factory back in with K&N) and cat-back Tanabe. Will anything fix it?

I think that was the code. I was in a rush to get home that time. Sometime with my facotry intake back in, my car chokes and thinks its not getting airflow. And sometimes the CEL still comes back on from it....I hope the K&N works. But are there any other ways too to insure this wont happen again?

p0171 (last resort) is a air fuel ratio sensor (aka o2 sensor)

clean the throttle body, possibly want to look into some injector cleaners too...

but since you said it's only 1 bank, it probably is the sensor (just dirty)
1GR-FE ftw!

I would recommend getting an OBD2 scanner and monitoring your short and long term fuel trims. That way you can see what it looks like. It may be the bank-1 is very lean and bank-2 is running fine. In that case, I would suspect dirty injectors in bank-1. It may also be that bank-2 is also running lean but just under the limit to throw a code. You'd be able to see that on an OBD2 scanner. Plus you'd be able to read/clear codes. Also if you are monitoring the trims and just 1 bank is very erratic, I would suspect the sensor. If it was a heater code for the sensor, this would all be easier.

I guess it is possible that the CAI is giving more air than the ECU is able to correct for but I highly doubt that. I would double check that all of your connections are tight. Especially where the filter connects. -JoeB
