Question For those with Pre-Painted TRD body kits

how close are the colors to the rest of the car? Especially those with the silver kit. I'm thinking it might look lighter than the rest of the car kind of like the bumper does. Thanks for your replies

The colors are gonna be off a hair due to the way it bonds to plastic over metal. That's what the Toyota paint shop told me when I asked about repainting the front and back end, he just said save your money.

like the others said, the kit will be slightly off...

but it's hardly noticeable in most lighting conditions...

the biggest difference in color will be with the rear bumper since it's already a different color than the rest of the car due to material differences...

I got the gen. 1 TRD kit from the last group buy on the Molly Kit last year and the paint is off only by a hair but the rear bumper is off because of the material as the others have said......nothing to worry about and it isn't that noticable.

Your biggest problem will be if you have 'pearl' paint, that'll give the biggest difference in the color from metal to plastic. That's why my front and back are slightly off. Oh well.
