Anyone got recommendations or help?

So guys I need help, currently I'm in LA, and I want to do a few things with my car, but here is what it is...

I'm going with the TRD sport springs, went to Performance shop in San Gabriel, said its about $245, and installation would be about $120

For brakes im thinkin about a upgrade, Im thinkin about Hawk Performance Ceramic Pads, with Brembo Blanks and for steel braided lines, im not sure, I need help guys with the brakes lines, i want a good upgrade.

I'm on a tight budget but I'm strongly thinking about the trd springs because i dont want to get tein's with shocks.

My cars a 2003 toyota solara I-4. I'm also thinking about getting the mounts for rear disc...

So in all i need recommendations for brakes, particularly with the brake lines.

Anyone know any good shops in LA area/county mainly east LA county or also anyone wouldn't mind helping out?

for the springs, you really should go for the teins.. its half the price + a lower, staggered drop.. and if you get any kind of springs ull need to upgrade your struts anyways

and for brakes.. the setup u mentioned is good enough.. the goodrich ss brake lines i put on mine are king

I got teins for 200, (but you can get them cheaper than that) and struts cost about 400 to 450. You can get tokicos on ebay for 320. Installation a shop quoted me 200. But i will probably do it myself. (Dont trust a lot of people working on my car)

Springs - 160-200
Struts - 300-400
Install - 175-250 (They wont install it for 120 once they figure out they need to remove the back seats....)

BTW TRD springs are same as Eibach springs, and any lowering springs, including the "TRD sport springs," which are just Eibachs, will blow out your stock struts eventually since the stock struts arent made to handle the lowering..and then that happens, you need to get the struts installed, which is basically goin thru the whole entire install procedure again.

I got brembo blanks and hawk HPS on my I4 on front, good combo, served me well so far.

Rear drum to disc conversion is too much money and not enough benefit.

I was going to get SS lines when i changed out my pads and rotors, but i figured since I only have two discs, that wont help much either. (SS lines only hook up to discs if I remember right)

Does that include alinment... Damn cheap price on the install though.. These are by far the hardest struts I have ever replaced... And the stock struts are crap in a lowered car.. Mine lasted less then three months.

I4 and V6 have the exact same suspension...but you know that Tein SS are Coilovers right, not Spring/Struts? They cost over $1,000

Coils generally are a stiffer ride than Struts and Springs, and are adjustable to the amount of stiffness or loweredness you want.
