Well I decided To finally make a new exhaust for the Solara, I allready had the TRD muffler but it was hooked to the stock piping. It was easier than many others I have made it only took a few straight peces 1 S ofsett and 1 90 degree angle I also bent some threaded rod to make hangers for the stock mounts. I made it all from 2.5 inch piping using a 18 inch hooker highflow resonator and magnaflow high flow OBD 2 cat. The sound is still about the same a little deeper (thank god). Which makes me happy because I did not want a super loud exhaust as it would make me feel like a rice boy.

As for performance it feels a lot better after about 2k and top end 5700 to 6200 is much improved. I will try to get pics later.

I should also mention the total cost was only 86 dollars :D

OK I added pics sorry if a couple are fuzzy

how only $86? :o Was that for the cat, resonator, and piping? Thats one heck of a deal. If I could weld the stuff myself and get the materials i would love to do it that way. Im in the syracuse, ny area by the way.

My neighbor gave me the pipe needed it was not much just a few straight 2.5 inch sections 1 S bend and 1 90 Bend. So that was free. The resonator I got 20 shipped it was a hooker red hot. The cat an OBD2 Magnaflow cat I got 56 shipped and then about 10 dollars for rod to make a hanger and high temp paint.

I live in Mendon about 1.5 hrs from Syracuse. It is South Of Rochester.
