I got my suspension bushings today.

I had the Super Pro bushings below installed this morning. You can really feel a difference. The OEM stuff really is of a much lower quality then the Super Pro.

Lower Front Control Arm – Rear Bushings(SPF 1265K)
Rack and Pinon Steering Mount Bushings for power steering(SPF1191K)
Rear trailing arm bushings (SPF0823K)

can anyone tell me for sure that this will get rid of wheel hop.. im still hoppin like a mother fuc*er

Jim's torque rod did it for me.. Have you got it?

You may need to adjust it some. I'm putting down some serious HP and torque and the rod fixed the wheel hop problem for me. Now tire spin is another deal all together.

how tight did you make the engine? How tight did u tighten down the top nut to pull the engine down? Cause I tightened it a bit and got rid of quite a bit of hop.. but still have some, but I don't want to tighen it too tight...

How tight is your torque rod? Cause I know the motor should have a bit of movement when you rev it

I have an auto as well. How tight you set the rod is up to you. I have mine set so that I can not move the lower rod end bearing by hand.

Hey Greg, did you notice any side effects with those bushing installed? How hard was it to install the new bushings and remove the old one?

No negative side effects. Removing the old ones was a hard job for the mechanic.

I just install the new bushings for the rear trailing arm and the bogbone from Global performance, I like the stiffness even though you feel the engine a little bit more, I 'm in the process of installing the ones for the front control arm, I have taken pics of the process so when I finish I will post them. :lol:
