High Output Alternators

Only when its really delivering more current than the stock alternator would. I doubt you would really notice it.. Maybe if your car is idling and your trying to play a 30 hz sine wave bass note with 2000 watts.. Lol......

"Alex," if you'd like to see what it looks like, you only have to look under the hood of your own Solara. The powder coat adds to the price, and my car is a daily driver, not a show car so I didn't have it done.
Stinger uses the factory alternator body, but adds a more effective magnets and far more brushes. The brushes create the electricity so more of them = more power. They also change the diode trio, the stator, regulator, and everything else inside. Stinger make alternators that are up to 325 amps!

"SPF" because it is only brushes it takes almost no extra horsepower to drive it. For the stereo I have I really should be using a second alternator, but that would have taken too much engine power, so I opted for a higher output single unit.
