So one of my headlights blew or i thought so. But i flipped on the high beams by accident today and the bulb seems to work fine for high beam. What the freak is up wit that i checked the wiring and it still doesnt work on low beam but when i high beam it it works. This is a gen 1 dual filament crap. Anyone know whats up?

:fadein: Well Bro,

Since the H4 bulb is a dual filament bulb, it has a tendency to blow-out one or the other. Your sure bet is to get a new bulb and see it the new one lights up at the low beam setting. If this doesn't work, check the fuse box that located in from of the battery. There should be an individual fuse for each side of the headlamps. The fuse on the very left should be the DRL (daytime running lamp). See if this helps out.

The low beam filament is blown. I would get a replacement bulb and just take out the old one.

I had the same thing happen to me but both my headlights blew at the sametime and it was at night. I ended up driving with just my fog lights running that night.

Also after i installed the HIDs my fogs went out for some reason. One was already burnt and the other jsut doesnt seem to turn on now either. OMFG :x
