Anybody know where I can get the best deal on a right rear Tokico strut. I had the stainless steel brake lines put on today and found out my right rear strut is leaking in additon to having a broken front strut mount. I'm assuming the best place for those is through Toyota.

the toyota dealership doesnt sell tokico struts, its an aftermarket item. the best deal i seen so far for tokico struts is from jack at fast track. alot of us on the forums have purchased them from him. or you can also look on ebay.

I meant I would get the strut mount from Toyota, not the strut.

oem strut mount

Postby hskrsolara » Fri Aug 05, 2005 11:15 pm

Try this site: http://catalog.eautopartscatalog.com/au ... trut+Mount

Local toyota dealership tried to get me to pay $125  each for the strut mounts. Found this website, and I was pleased by the shipping time and quality of products. The mounts are KYB, which looked to me like they are OEM replacements, but I may be wrong. Only $53.55 a piece looks like a sweet deal! :D

strut mounts

Postby hskrsolara » Fri Aug 05, 2005 11:18 pm

Yeah, I just got the tokico/tein combo finished tonight with the new 18's. Old strut mounts made all kinds of noise and the new ones were silent at 85+ mph! :D Very pleased!

So far the lowest price I have found for the strut is $98.97. Anybody found one cheaper?
