Pink HIDs

There is a truck from a Local Auto Custom Shop in my town that has PINK HIDs. Not cheap ricer bulbs, or SG colored Headlights.

They are a pinkish purple depending on where you are standing when you see them and what they reflect on. They are not blue or white in any way. Tottally Pink/Purple.

I have no Idea what would make a HID setup pink. Please enlighten me. What Brand, Bulb, Ballast could this be or even the Temp.

10,000k is pinkish white

12,000k purple

I used to have one, it's HID Plus 9000k.

pink is the dumbest invention ever. IMO, pink only belongs on nipples and twats, not in headlights.

I have to agree.. Pink isn't my ideal color for anything on my car. Sounds like you want to "rice out" a beautiful piece of machinery.

anything 9K or over will look purple/pink, i know arief (happyaggie) had em' anything over 4500 is just too much IMO!
